SALVADOR, Brazil, Nov. 10 (UPI) -- A missing American teenager was found on Thursday in northeastern Brazil after disappearing last week.
Mykensie Martin, 17, turned up in a police station in the seaside city of Salvador accompanied by a young Brazilian man.
Martin was living with a host family in the central state of Minas Gerais when she set out for Salvador.
The U.S. embassy had joined in the search and notified Martin's parents when she turned up on Thursday.
